Default How do you remove window trim?

I got a 93 mustang Im parting out and I was wanting to know what is the best way to remove the trim around the front and back window without bending them up? Thanks

I have never tried removing the trim around the front window. But what i did when I had to repaint the back window trim was I took a flat head screw driver and a cloth and very carefully pulled up on the trim where the clips were. Hope this helps you out a little.

Yeah, it's just attached with clips, so all you have to do is use a flat headed screw driver or a small pry bar and find out where it is connected and pull up just a little bit and it will pop out. And even if you bend it a little, the metal pieces aren't hard to bend back and as far as I can remember, I don't even think that all the pieces are even metal. So some of them don't even worry about bending.

The trim on the actual doors though is the hard part though. First because they are fairly brittle and crack easily. What you have to do for those isslide them toward the rear of the car, and then you can pull them off.
