what would it take to change from a IHI rhb52 turbo to a garrett t3 in a 87 thunderbird turbo coupe.
I found one in the paper that is supposed to be mint for 150, Ill go buy it right away if the isn't a whole bunch of mods needed to install it.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Selling a Garrett turbo with a 1.10 A/R, has divided exhaust housing and in excellent condition. Has 3" inlet/Outlet and casting number 3F15. $250 obo

A 1.10 A/R is too big for that engine. That is probably a Cummings engine turbo.

the .60 A/R would be good if it is not AFU. The downpipe will need to be modded a bit.

Have you actually found out that your turbo needs to be replaced or are you just throwing money at it? If that is the case, I got stuff to sell!
