Default 1990 mustang LX 2.3 running rich

I have a 1990 Lx 2.3... checked for engine codes no stored.. Runs fine until idle kicks down or under load, causing engine to run ruff and excessive black smoke out of tail pipe.. What/Where is the ECT?

lol... 2 threads that are very identical... Sorry I can't help you out on the position of the ECT. Maybe those couple of posts on this other thread will help.
