Default 1993 mustang v6....can it be done?

Can I take a V6 out of a ranger, with the tranny and Can I get it to fit in the mustang and work? Will I need the drive shaft and rearend or can I use the mustang? I want something different and this just crossed my mind.

Yes. Could use a 4.0. Could use a 5speed but would have shifter in dash of the Mustang. Unsure if t-5 trans is available in it. If using after around 1999 would have to deal with anti-theft in the computer. That can be delete out by sending computer out for changine. Could use a 3.8 out of the later Mustang. Say around 2000 model same deal on computer but bellhousing same pattern as 5.0 way I understand. Have a buddy using a c-4 behind a turbo 2001 model. Could do like me 3.2 SHO in a Mustang but I don't recommend. A nightmare but doable. Just everything else around house broke, Jeep, 89 Mustang, MG, washingmachine, and trying to build workshop. Good luck Maurice

Default Same as V8

Use the "formula" for doing a V8 conversion and just use the V6 engine. The front end and rear end componets for the v6 should be the same as for the v8 (5.0). Of course you could also use those componets from a/the v6 doner vehicle.
