i have a 93 mustang lx 5 speed, now since im heading to the j-yard tomorrow i was wondering if i could take a 140 mph speedo from another stang and swap it in? i mean swapping it from one cluster to another just to be clear, unless i can just take the whole cluster lol

Yes you can swap speedos, but you'll have to keep your tach, so you can't just swap clusters

oh yea i forgot about that, though i heard something about a switch on the back. mught just be the older ones tho. thanks for the info

Switch on back is for the tach. 140 speedometer is direct swap. You just need the speedometer only. The cluster won't work. Just remove the speedometer and swap out. Just make sure to get one out of a airbag car. The 4eye cars and non air bag ones will not work. I made a airbag one work in mine but had to dismantle both speedometer and use parts from both to work. I don't recommend it at all. Too easy to mess both up.
