Nice Shovel.
Does it still have a Muncie in the tunnel, or did you modernize the drivetrain? Please tell me a man of your talent isn't still rockin the Z-bar.
A couple of weeks ago I was back in Orlando and helped an old friend with his '72 big block Chevelle. It's been back-halved and the whole Pro Street treatment. It's a beautiful car that looks professionally built, but was done in a small garage. The motor started life as a 396 (Actually I think it might have been a 402). It's now a Canfield headed, Dominator fed, Nitrous assisted, nasty little thing.
OH and did I mention after owning the car since high school, he decided recently to run the numbers on the car. Turns out it's a Heavy Chevy. His quote to me after he did the homework was "...and I cut the B****H up."
I doubt he'll ever go back to a stock frame and suspension, but I don't think it's nothing that a call to Alston and a trip through the Goodmark catalog couldn't fix. I told him "Hey, it's not like you cut up a '70 LS6"
