1993 Mustang 2.3 cold air intake what size cold air intake fit's 2.3 motors or do I just buy one for 5.0 motors and use a adjustable clamp. Also which brand is the most effective.

Get a 2'' or 2 1/2 inch pipe and have one side slightly bent. Thats the cheapest. If you go 3" with MAF it'll run slightly poor. K&N filter is whats going to cost because it's the best filter out there for your car. Breaths real good, other cones are just as good as the filter in that air box your trying to get rid of. With K&N you will feel more of a difference than you would with a cheap cone filter, but if you want cheap get the $20 cone to stick on the end. You'll also need an $8 MAF adapter from the local parts store.

You can get a kit that comes with everything or just the pipe and piece it together. You'll pay anywhere from $40 and up on a good CAI system or you can hopefully make one cheaper.
If you want it now i'd buy the kit.
