auto vs. 5 speed computer diff??

i was wondering about changing my car from speed density to maf, my car is automatic now, and i already have a maf computer from a 1993 mustang, but it to is an automatic, but i was looking to convert to 5 speed in the next month, will i have to get another computer???

Nope... I believe the check engine light will be on all the time because it thinks that there is something wrong with the transmission. Just check for codes every few months to make sure nothing else is actually wrong.
