Ok guys in need of some advice. i am currently restoring a 1992 fox body mustang with a 2.3 stock engine and an automatic transmission. my goal is to upgrade to a 2.3 turbo engine. i recently found a 2.3 turbo engine from a thunderbird supercoupe and know that those motors have been put in fox bodies before. I can get the whole 2.3 turbo engine, i.e. the computer and all. however the car that the motor was pulled from had a manual transmission. will this motor work in my automatic? if not is there a way to make it work? thanks for the help

Its not from a supercoupe. Its from a turbocoupe. Either way the auto will not hold up to the turbo motor with over 8-10 lbs. If you beef up the auto it will live but to get the boost up to 18 lbs its not going to live. Hope this helps.
