Default firewall help on my 93

i noticed that the firewall on my 93 was messed up earlier, is there anything i can do to fix it? or would i have to take it to a body shop? its bent in around the clutch cable, and cracked in a place or 2.

Very common problem and we fix a lot of them. When we build FOX BODIES we reinforce this area by the clutch cable. Their is a plate that comes off where the cable runs and you can reinforce the area fairly easy. Hope this helps.

Steel plate welded on the the weak area. Then put the whole clutch set-up back onto the plate...

I'm pretty sure it would be easier in the engine compartment. The firewall has got to be one of the more tricky places on the entire vehicle... I am not sure how much stuff has to come out before you can have access to the area. It might also be worth it to take the hood off for clearance and room.
