I need to clean my engine - it has all the electronics on it and i want to power wash it. Gunk engine brite will be sprayed on prior to power washing! What should i be careful of - what should i tape up.

Dude be carefull. That may be a mistake. I know lots of guys that regreted doing that. I dont recommend it. I have seen many an engines sensors suffer damage that way. Just me i may be wrong. If you do it do it with a cold engine and put a plastic bag over the DIZZY TOM :h appyhapp

I agree. Wash maybe not power wash. Like pointed out protect dizzy and alternator [or remove not that hard]. Use some engine cleaner and just regular water pressure. Definitely let dry!!! Done it before been luck but there is always the first time.

I did that once at the car wash many years back and drove it home with it wet and the spark was arching across plugs and everything was going haywire until it blew up. Bad deal...
