Default will a door from a 1988 Thunderbird TC fit on 1986 Thunderbird TC?

I have a 1986 tbird tc. it has a huge dent on the passenger side. the dent is about half on the quarter panel and half on the door. will a door from a 1988 tbird tc fit? they look to be the same size and dimensions.

Hey big guy!

Is that dent on the body small enough to be hammered out far enough to be bondo'd? If not, you might have to learn how to weld if you don't already know...

Steve

PS: even if the door doesn't fit, you can always just go sell it and turn a profit... be all business-man-like!

Wasn't me. The guy i bought it from, his dad was driving and an elderly woman hit him while he was making a turn. I got the car for 550 so i think its a good deal, even though it had a blown head gasket

So by a salvage yard or bodyshop. They got cross reference books and tell you in a few minutes. I think the non turbo 86 doors same as the 2.3 turbo.

It should work i think. anyway im just curious but i think i blew my valve cover gasket on the front cam tower. its rubber and i followed the torque and sequence. i see some oil on the bottom of the hood and around the engine bay. This is the second one ive had to replace

Are you using the Ford valve cover gasket? It has a metal insert on the sides to prevent leaks. Works real good on mine.
