well i jsut got this guaranteed to pass stuff followed the instructions wasted a tank of gas and i still failed the test
HC ppm limit 66 mine 91 CO% limit .37 mine 346 NO ppm limit 757 mine 1171
any idea would help me to get this thing to pass

What kind of car do you have? turbo/na? is it stock? what mods have you done?

Let me start out by saying this. I hold 4 ASE certifications on emissions and i am state certified in CT. What kind of engine is it and is it stock. Is this your numbers HC 91 LIMIT 66 CO 346 LIMIT .37 NOX 1171 limit 757 These numbers are way off. How does the car run???Does it have a cat??? And an EGR working??? last time i had to pass emissions i stuffed those metal sos pad things in my exhaust pipe that worked for me lol
ive also heard from ppl that if you go with studded tires on they wont let you test but i dont know if thats true or not

OK that is better??? .46 I knew that was a TYPO. Once again more info needed. What is the test that your country does??? ASM 25-25 or IDLE 2500. I know the timing is 10* BTDC???? Did you set yours with the SPOUT OUT????? Need more info to proceed.

We do emmision's tests in Canada? LOL, Ontario sucks!!! just kidding... But this is really the first time I have heard of emmisions test here... I thought it was only in California "I'll be back", lmao...

ontario does both tests, and ontario has banned studded tires for a long time.

everything else passed
i am in ontario
and the test is at 40km/h i think its 25 mile rpm was at 2830 and dilution was 14.94 and those passed and everything on idle passed

but i was talking to my brother and he has an idea to make it pass
set it to factory timing and i forget the name of it its on the same cord that goes to the ignition moduel take the cap off of it and it supposed to run like **** but itll pass his mustang was alot worse then what mine is at and he got it to pass

Sounds like you are talking about the SPOUT. I suspect that is your plan to pass emission testing. That motor should pass with no problem in stock form. Something is wrong and should be repaired. You anticipated a failure because you bought some magic potion that did not work. Hay sorry for the previous post but we need accurate info to help you. Give us the problem and the numbers and the type of test and i can help. If not let your brother get it through if he can. TOM

i jsut got it reran today and it ran the same numbers
the thing i dont get is that i didnt do a thing to the car the car past last year
i know it needs an oil change would that help?
