On top of all my other problems I found that it's idling really low. I got the screw 3 or 4 turns past factory setting and I got no cats with a stock muffler and a turn down. Quiet and low. Wtf could it be?
How bad of a shake is it? it could be one of the cylinders are not firing. It could be fuel injectors, a blown headgasket, bad rings maybe?, valves or valve seats. Do a compression test on all 4 then do a leakdown. if ur not getting any compression in one of the cylinders its probably a blown gasket, but a leakdown will tell you for sure. Where do you live? im down in boca. if you need help i could almost drive up depending on where u live.

Make shure all your cylinders are firing. What you can do is install 4 long and skinny carter pins bent open into the towers of the dizzy cap. Push them under the boot dont puncture the boot. Then run the engine. Use a jumper wire connected to ground and hit the carter pins one by one. The one that does not make a difference in the runnung of the engine is the culprit. Years ago we used to do this as a fast check for cylinder balance. Just go slow and dont get shocked.

I don't understand? Open the carter pins and put them under the boot connected at the coil packs? I have spark from all 8 plugs.
Ok Sorry you have a duelie. I always forget that the later motors are duelies. In that case do a compression TEST and record the numbers. You may have a dead cylinder. Normally with a duelie ignition problems are rare. What you have to determin is if the engine has a miss and where its comming from.I normally disconnect one bank of plugs with duelies if a scope is not available then do a balance test with one set of plugs. Ford has a section in the manual for this procedure. Sorry forgot you have a duelie and waste spark ignition. In your case you can disconnect the injector wires one by one to locate the distressed cylinder. If you disconnect one that does not make the engine run differently that is the one in question. How about the head gasket?? Loosing watter or anything strange like that???? Post back with more info How about the SES light Is it on????? TOM

That's not to bad of a drive i think... is it east of I-95 and close to Belvedere Dr?
Get off 95 at Forest Hill and head west. Make a right at the first or second light which is Florida Mango. Take Florida Mango through Summit Blvd. It's the 4th street on the right.

I'll have to try this. I think the last time I checked the Fuel Injectors by unplugging them, the first Injector closest to the Radiator did nothing when I unplugged it. So I changed the Injector.
