Default Can I use a Mustang 140 Speedometer in my 1988 Turbo Coupe?

Seeing that I cruise on the highway at about the limit of the stock speedometer on my T-Bird, I was wanting to upgrade the speedometer.

I can't find any speedometers that are specifically for my 1988 T-Bird so was wondering if the Mustang speedometers would fit and work in my car if they are from roughly the same year?

And if anyone has one that they want to swap for a genuine Ford 140 speedometer that I bought for my early 80s Mustang i'm in.

If it physically fits and they are from 4 cylinder cars i say YES. I personally never done one but because they are electronic. I say probably will work.

It is strange what little things stick in your mind when skimming over a site looking for info. I remember seeing it one time when gathering 2.3 turbo info. Glad it was some help. Maurice

Have to get on reading it Maurice.
I hit that little picture of the speedo in the link you sent and did a SFP seeing that the 140 I have wasn't listed as a drop in for the TC.

Mine is not digital.
And glancing at it today, it doesn't look rectangular like the later model Mustang one.
My old one might fit. Colour scheme will be off with the green markings.
