Angry 1/4 Mile times

I think it would be helpful and interesting to everyone here if everyone posted their 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. Everyone should also list their mods and information about their cars.

If you have a time please share it even if its not a great time, becuase everyone didn't start off having the fast car, you got to work at it.

Myself personaly, i've got no idea what my car runs. I've never takin it to the track and it is completly bone stock. My car is a 1988 Ford mustang lx 2.3L 4 cylinder, that produces 88 horespower. My car is a notchback, with a T-5 transmission (5 speed manual). My car has power locks and mirrors no power windows and no sunroof, i wish i had those two options. But, hey its my first car and i'm only 16. My mustang has an ugly blue paint job with ugly blue interior, but i am planing on putting on a body kit, 4" cowl hood, pony rims and sparco seats, after that i feel that my car will look very nice. My mustang only has 123,000 kms on it which i feel is next to unbelievable for a car thats 15 years old! I plan on put 65 mm throttle bodies, cold air intake, header, exhaust, cam and 75 shot nos. My ultimate goal is to reach low 15s the same as a stock 5.0.

Please reply back on thoughts, suggestions and what you guys are runnining, mods, plans, car options etc. Lets try an get this 2.3 section of the forum lived up!

my stock 95 convert.ran 16.2 @83 now i run 14.7 @ 95. good luck and don't spend the money on stuff for the original motor, go to a junk yard and buy a 5.0 for a couple hundred bucks and go from there. again, good luck and stay safe, Jon Figley.

the 2.3 turbos are a badass motor... my 84 needs slight motor work but it runs approx a a high 14.... thats pretty sweet for a production fourbanger with a hair dryer

dont waste you money on seat and a body kit or n2o. and if you do get a body kit get a saleen one or somehting, not that ricer crap. get your self a 2.3 turbo motor out of a Merkur or a Turbocoupe. and then you will be running with the 5.0s. and oh yea right noiw your car runs 19's in the 1/4 18's if you lucky

BKR,
You could easily reach you ET goal N/A but it would cost a lot of cash dude. Going to a turbo motor would be faster if you have access. Just remember that you would need the engine wiring harness, fuel pump, all sensors and ECM from the turbo donor car as well along with the Vane meter attached to the airbox. You can make it work with a MASS air meter, but would involve more work.
