Default 2.3l exhaust manifold rusted

i have an 89 mustang lx 2.3l. i am currently restoring it considering it was given to me in well less tahn excellent condtion. at the present i am trying to fix the body and do slight mods to the engine because the engine works great. how ever when i had to do transmission work i cut out the existing exhaust because it was no good. i bought a flowmaster kit off of a 351 90 mustang. here's the catch to even begin work i either need to figure a way to bolt up the new exhaust right before the cat or find a way to remove the exisiting manifold that is rusted so bad that the nuts and studs are pretty much one. i also am not trying to damage my engine block.

Sounds like alot of work... Fer the donut and flange i'd take it to a local muffler shop ( not a mineke or famous nationwide one ) and see what they be willing to do fer ya...

one thing tho, isnt the 351 exhaust 2.5-3"? Isnt that too big?
