I need help please. I have a 1988 Mustang LX convertible, AOD, fuel injected, 89,000 miles. After about 15, to 20 minutes the car dies. It may restart right away, or it may have to sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Once it restarts, it may or may not continue running. Prior to dying, there is no indication. When it runs it is smooth and has power (for a 2.3). I have changed the ignition module, fuel filter, filled the tank and added moisture absorber (Heet). Tonight when it died, I checked for fuel pressure at the fuel rail by depressing the Shrader valve. I had a strong spray of gasoline. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Check your o2 censors that kindof sounds like what my 88 GT did last year

Sounds exactly like what mine was doing yesterday. Replaced ingition module all better.
