Im thinking about getting a short throw shifter, among other things, for my 86 SVO. Just wondering if there is any special type I would need to get. I found some, but it says they are only for the v8s.

i put a v8 shifter on my 93 2.3 should work work on your svo..just compare them online or ask the supplier you want to buy it from

shifters between 2.3's and 5.0's are compatable, the preffered choice by most drivers, is the pro5.0shifter.
