 many questions
i have recently bought a 1989 mustang lx 2.3 efi and this spring plan to do some changes to it. im wondering what price range and difficulty i can be looking at with these following options:
1. a friend of mine is willing to sell me a very nice 302 out his capri. i know i will have to add a carb since making it fuel injected would be a large hassel. also i would get the headers, exhaust, and engine mounts with it. i dont know what else i'd need or what they'd cost me. the motor and parts included would be $1000, what other costs/parts should i expect and what would the final outcome price be?
2. make my 2.3 a stroker motor. i have no idea what i'd have to do for this or cost.
3. could i add a turbo on my 2.3 lie the mustang turbo cobras? cost? amount of work and difficulty?
in the meantime, i've got to make this car a little faster than it already is. a friend suggested my timing could be advanced or retarded to increase power. i've also thrown a short ram cold air on it, which as all of us probably know does about nothing. any other ideas?
