Question Egr/evp Location

I have a '93 2.3L and my code reader tells me that the EVP valve is not seating correctly. I would change it or fix it if I could find it. I've been reading through some posts and have found no definite answer. Can anyone tell me exactly where it is? It would be much appreciated.

i do not know what epv is ; but you have a slash with egr - exhaust gas recirculation.
that is located on the back side of the engine just forward of the firewall- on the top side of the engine.

I believe EVP is the electrical part mounted on the back of the EGR. VP= valve position...how long has it been since the EGR was replaced?

EVP is the part on the back of the EGR that tells the system if the EGR is working and how much etc. So if your code is for EVP it probable means your EGR is not moving. Could be a vacuum problem, a EGR solenoid problem, the EGR or the sensor.
