Default how do i set timeing?

how do i set the timing on my 93 2.3? it is missing the timing belt cover, so i have nothing to go by here. help me please!

should all be the same i think..i know on my 302 you plug your timing light to your number 1 spark plug...then undo the bolt enough so you can turn the distributor

Are we talking valve timing or ignition here? I believe that ignition timing is "not adjustable". It's all done by computer now....If you have no dist then, you have noting to adjust.

got it fixed a while back. it was my crank sensor.
