Exclamation my 93 2.3 cuts off when i put in it drive

or reverse, i took it 2 the shop and they couldnt find anything wrong with it, any ideas?

i beleive there's a male/female connector or it could be a switch (i cant remember) near the brake pedal. there's probably more than one there, make sure theyre all connected. one of them controls if you can put the car in gear right and the brake lights. try that.

ok i found the male side of the plug, but i cant find the other side ive taken most of my dash apart looking 4 it, can any1 give me any ideas where it might b at?

um theyre usually wedged somewhere inside the dash near the steering column... that would be my best bet, ive never had to take apart the dash, so i cant really help you there.

ok its fixed...i have no idea how but i got in it and its been working for 3 days now i guess if it breaks again im gonna shitcan the car, i can buy a 91 in really good condition for $1000 so i might do that even if it dont break lol cuz im gettin used 2 the 2.3 motor ive done enough work to where im comfortable with working on it
