Default What's left

Almost a month ago I was driving my 89 2.3 and all was good and then coming home it just lost power and i barely made it into drive way. I've changed, fuel filter, fuel pump, rotor and cap, coil, coil wire, air filter, took catalitic converter off thinking it might be plugged and I still have no power. Car starts ok but i can't get any more than 1200 revs. What else is there?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Check your map sensor, had the same problem with mine and did the same as you changed everything else i could think of and finally some one told me to change out the map sensor, after changing it and resetting the ecu it ran like a new stang. other than that check for a vacuum leak,

The map sensor is on the center of the fire wall almost directly behind the intake. or UNDER the HOOD, PASSENGER SIDE, FRONT SIDE OF STRUT TOWER MOUNTED ON FENDERWELL I have included a picture of what it should look like or similiar to it. I went thru quite a few hundred dollars before figuringing out it was this. They average about $75 dollars at the part stores but you can usually get one at a junk yard for $5-$10. I now carry an extra one just in case. They rarely go out but when they do they will drive you nuts.

changed the map but still no luck. I cannot find a vac leak. could it be the ecu? i know maybe i should take it to a garage but it's a challenge now. i've taken stuff to garage before and they/ve done same as me and just change parts and give you an ebnormous bill and yhe car still ain't right. any help appreciated.
