Default putting a turbo on n/a 2.3 motor.

I have an 86 SVO, but I need to pull the motor and rebuilt it. I have another 2.3 just to put in for a couple weeks until I get my SVO motor completly done. Will this work ok (I wont be hammering on it, with this temp. motor). The only thing I found was the n/a 2.3 dont have an "oil drain" in the block, but I figured that I could somehow route the oil drain to the oil pan. Let me know ASAP.

Thanks guys,

Chris

if you mean youre gonna put the turbo on the N/A while its in there, no youll ruin the internals, theyre not made to handle boost. end of story.

hummmm that sounds pretty shitty..... i have a n/a 2.3 motor with a turbo on it :S.... and yes it has acted up!!! i blew the head because of a coolant leak :S... NOT COOl !! however it does have forged pistons and a drain to the oil pan, this is the way i bought the car. it is an 83 gt with a 88 ranger block in it.... what els should i be concerned about???
