What internal differences in 1990 2.3L engine vs 1986 2.3L turbo engine?

ok, please be kind because i really dont know, What is the difference (internally) from a (for example) 1990 2.3 n/a mustang motor and a 1986 2.3T engine for instance? is it just the pistons? or are the rods different? same crank?

Most importantly, 2.3T's have forged pistons. The rods and crank are the same. The turbo block has a provision for oil drainback from the turbo and the heads are way different.
