anyone ever gutted out the cats on a 2.3 before.... or just removed them and replaced them with pipe ?????????
any tips on how to do this ....i can't afford 700 bucks to have the whole exhaust replaced.......(muffler is shot also) ...any ideas or help appreciated ...thankz

You will loose backpressure, and on the 2.3 that means you will also loose torque/hp, which you really cant afford to loose.
