I know ive read on here that if a turbo was put on it would basicly ruin the engine. But i read on another site that if the turbo does a 5-10psi boost that the stock 2.3l could handle it. I was wondering if this was true and if so what performence gain would there be horsepower wise. Forgot to say i have an 86 lx with the 2.3l dont know if that makes a difference other then it not being a turbo.

I would not do it on a n/a 2.3L, if you do i would upgrade the piston... I don't think is would be a good thing...
