Exclamation Help needed! no power...no lights..nothing turns on!

as i was checking my fuel lines and fuel rail...my alternator wires were a bit bald and came in contact with the line from fuel regulator to the intake manifold and made a short....now the car no power...no lights..nothing tunrs on! help me !! please ASAP!

repair the wires, and go get the alt. and probably the regulator checked and you should be fine, double check the battery charge.

how do i check all the wiring? how do i replace them?

Start by checking all the fuses, else, take it to a shop.

I had an alt wire harness smoke on me last year. you said you know what wire was exposed and grounded the system. so just got throught it and look at the other wires for the system cut out the bad parts and replace them. (depending on the year TC some of the wires may still be available so you do not have to hack in)

double check your alt. and check the regulator and toss a good charge or a newer battery. chances are it has been shorting for a while and simply draining the battery way to low.

I like I am sure others as well can help better if we can see the wires and location you are talking about. (pics help) but it sounds like a simple but annoying (sp) fix.
