Default Supercharging a 2.3L 4-cyl?

Does anyone know of a supercharger for the Ford 2.3L 4-cyl engines? I recently purchased a '90 Mustang LX and would like to supercharge the engine instead of turbocharging the engine. Is there a company that sells a supercharger for the 2.3L motor? All help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at jclthei@yahoo.com with any questions or comments. Thank you

No pre-made kits exist. I just saw a post over on StangNet that showed a home-built supercharged 2.3 Ranger. Alot of work and the engineering is questionable, but it's there and it's apparently driven.

What's your reason for wanting the supercharger vs. the turbo charger?

not worth it when a turbo is more powerful and the stuff is available and it would be very costly and im geussing u would only get like 8lbs of boost, why bother???just my opinion

the turbo is more powerful, and eventhough it is unsafe to put forced induction on a n/a 2.3, the engine will survive longer under a turbo.

you can strap up the smallest eaton, i have seen pictures of them being bolted up to a probe, but you dont want to do that unless you swap out the internals for forged internals, or else you will fry them.

the only advantage of a supercharger over the turbo in this case, is that you dont need to tap the oil pan for an oil return as far as i know... but i could be totally wrong on that part.
