Default Parts help for my DIFFERENT setup

Opps, I mistakenly originaly posted this to the introductions page, sorry guys...

Hi all, I am new here but have been reading through the forums. I have a 1989 2.3l t5 Lx Coupe. My plan for the engine is to make it super simple and build more power and also to do something different(and not completely break the budget). So here is the plan: K&N filter, Holley 350 CFM carb, carb spacer, self ported EFI lower intake, lightly self ported heads, forged pistons(because of nitrous), long tube header, Mallery Distributer, Mallery Ignition modual, CAM & NITROUS(25-75hp shot).

Questions: I can get the header and cam from Racer Walsh, but want to know of any other sources so I know all of my options. Is the R.W. header a pacesetter and is there a sourse for the Pace setter unit? What about cams? I am considdering the R.W. #2 cam.

Does anybody have a nitrous kit that will work with a 2 bbl carb? Or do I have to use a 390cfm 4bbl carb?

Thanks for reading my long post...ohhhhh yeah I cansidered a turbo setup and I know the advantages but this realy is the path I want to take.

I don't know of a nitrous plate for 2 bbl applications, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist. You could make up a fogger system using the existing injector bosses on the EFI lower if a plate can't be sourced. That would be trick!

Also check Esslinger Engineering for 2.3 performance stuff.

Just about every major cam manufacturer makes or markets camshafts for 2.3s

Here's a list of the ones that come to mind:

Crower
Comp Cams
Crane
Schneider
Engle
Ford Racing

The list is heavy on hyd. flat tappet and solid falt tappet, but there's a few roller gems in there and I believe Schneider will grind a roller version of their flat tappet cams for a reasonable price if desired.

Hey thanks for the reply and info. I gues I'll try the cam companies sites for more info and purchasing. I realy like the N2O injection through the FI ports. If I need to I will try that.
