Default 2.5 liter swap to a 1993 ford mustang

i was wondering if a 2.5 liter engine out of a 99 or newer ford ranger would swap right in a 93 ford mustang and will the electronics hook up to it and the fuel injection bolt on i thought that they were the same engine except the 2.5 liter has a bigger stroke
will a 99 or newer ford ranger engine swap right in a 93 ford mustang 2.3 liter and all the eltronis hook up and fuel injection i thought that they were pretty much the same engine except for the 2.5 liter has a bigger stroke

I don't know if it's wire-for-wire, plug-for-plug, but you could easily hang all of the 2.3 stuff onto the 2.5 long block and rock on.

in 1999 the hole for the distributor was eliminated see link...

i don't think this swap will be this easy.

what may work is installing the stroker crank in your block, port and polish the heads. esslinger has all to do this
