Ok first off we have a 1990 Mustang LX with a 2.3 Liter Engine with 4 plug head that the block is bad. Heres the deal we found a complete 1993 Mustang 2.3 Liter with the 8 plug head. Since we dont have or cant get the computor for 8 plug head motor, will the 90 model 4 plug head fit the 93 model engine?

And the 1993 has a aluminum cast looking oil pan and our 90 model has a Stamped steel looking oil pan. My 2nd question is will the steel pan from the 90 model work on the 93 model?

yes and yes its the same engine you might need to change some sensors off of the engine in your car over to the new one but it will all work, but do you mean you cant get the computer for the 8 spark plug head??

Yes the guy that we are getting the motor from only has the motor, he let the computer go with the car when it was hauled of because he wasnt going to use it, he is one of the mini stock racers that is getting out of the racing game and had this motor that he pulled out with all the acc's still in tack and in place. But said he let the computor go because he was going to carb and 4 plug head.
