Default any easy mods for the 2.3L

i need to know what i can do to my completly stock 2.3L that will help it perform better....any stock parts i can remove or redirect and anything i can change for cheap...please help me

first thing i've done is remove the air silencer... aka the big black box on the intake. I've noticed a nice pick up, maybe a few horses after i mad the switch to pvc instead of the big black box. A hi-flow filter is next for me.

so far:
1987 hatchback mustang
2.3L, replaced to a '89
Air silencer removed
t-5 all the way
1400 watt sound system w/ twin 12" chrome subs
-The shadow runner was a legendary chinese horse that could outrun its own shadow[/size]

i believe i have done that i took the complete intake off up the manifold and replaced it with 3" stainless steel intake tubing with a high flow filter...i need to know a easy fix for new exhaust from headers back with no cats maybe a c-bomb or some packs of some sort no clue thoe..
