Talking Fixed my headlights on my mustang!

Fixed my headlights on my 87 5.0 wasn't the fusible links or a wiring problem the problem was that someone had accidentialy stripped the wire for the headlights that plugs into the Highbeam and wiper control switch had touched metal and melted the plug completely so I had to reinstall a new plug a little wiring pretty easy so I got the headlights working took out the DTL cause I hate it. And its all good I believe there was another person with the same type of problem except his inside lights weren't working make sure u check all the plugs that connect to the sterring wheel and ur dimmer switch that might have something to do with it anyways thanks for everyones help Cya b back prolly not soon cause my stang runs awesome

have u replaced all of the switches in the steering from the ignition switch to the high low beam. There is a recall on the ignition switch from like 85-90's on all ignition switches in fords. They will cause the car to catch on fire. It may take a little money but just start replacing all of the electronics one peace at a time because face it the fox body is getting old and you might as well replace it before u need a tow truck.
