hey i have a 1991 mustang 2.3L what kind of rearend comes factory in the car and what kind of gears will fit in where can i get some for a good price thanx ( the 1986 svo motor is almost ready to go in )

It's a 7.5 rear end with 3.73 gears. My dad's is that way in his 91 hardtop.

If it's an automatic car it came with 3.73 gears
The 5-speed cars ran a 3.45 gearset.

All of the 4cyl. cars came with 7.5" gears.

You can get 4.10s through Jeg's or Summit for the 7.5. You'll need a different pin for the 4.10s and it's also available from both places. Look on Ebay for 7.5 Trac-Loc diffs. You can also check Bronco II's and early Rangers for 7.5 Trac-Locs
