There's no readily available aftermarket chip for the ECU in the 2.3 Mustangs, but you can have a custom chip burned by a shop that does them. Suspensions on these cars is nearly the same as what's on the 5.0s (slightly softer springs and no rear "kicker" shocks are the only major differences, as well as sway bar sizes (but even that varies on 5.0s) so you may check the 5.0 tech and the general Mustang tech forums for more info on the suspension.

The only 4cyl. ECU's that are accessible via tuner or chip are the one's from the Turbocharged cars. P series, L series, etc. I've seen a couple of Superchips for N.A. cars, but they were for the dist. fired motors.

I don't know about coilovers as I've never been a fan of them. If you look at places like Eibach and such, they list the same part number for SN95 V6 cars as the do Fox 4cyl. cars. It's a relatively safe assumption that what works for 94-00 V6 cars up front will work for the 4 cyl. cars as well.

Out back, it seems that they're all the same.

Yeah the Turbines will work. The 91 and later cars actually had larger wheel openings to accommodate the 16" Pony wheels that came out about then so those 15" rims will be fine. I think they had 225/60-15s on them when they left Ford.

I've converted mine to 5-lug and run 16" 94-95 GT wheels. Most people call them "Waffle Ponies". Out back I'm sitting on 245/50 -16 and up front is 225/55 - 16 I had the 245's all the way around but had issues with strut clearance and had to run spacers...I hate spacers... So I found a narrower tire that still maintained the same height as the 245. It clears the strut without a spacer, but it's still damned close.

I'm still thinking about hanging big brakes on the car so I may end up going to a 17" bullet wheel or maybe SVT Cobra wheels. If it isn't already apparent, I prefer factory wheels over aftermarkets.

same here, but I hate going over 16in. I'm a hell rider.. I like bumps and curves, or shall I say the bumps like me.. I bent 16in. rims 3 of 4 on my ol' firebird, damn bridge was raised... pissed me off, and cost me over 500 bucks. the state wouldn't pay anything..
