seems like there should be another metal tube that goes from the top of your motor and is connected by the reducer that is pictured to the underneith of the elbow in the picture. then the piece in the picture is connecto to that piece by the blue rubber connector at the end of the pipe in the picture...the filter may even be made to go in the fender well, but i'm not familiar with this brand...only stuff for newer models which most of these kinds of cai are designed to have the filter inside of the fender
