Default coil springs?? best for the buck??

ok... I just read somewhere about cutting the springs to lower the car??? wouldn't that hurt the spring?? who here has done that??
why is it I find v8 springs and 6 springs but no 4's??? who has them??
or should I too cut coils off??

Default springs

I know people who have cut their springs and it looks great, Of course your going to have a little less comfortable ride but it doesn't bother some guys.

if it were me the first thing you need to do is decide what your plans are for the car and what you intend to gain from each mod. dont do like i have b4 and waist money on mods that later have to be changed again to take the car to the next level. as far as cutting the springs i would recommend it. that can change alot on how the suspension, steering, and sometimes the braking of the car works. i would save my money and upgrade to v8 lowering springs and brakes since you said its a 4 banger its just a matter of time b4 that 347 stroker starts looking real tasty

nah.... no v-8 here...
first.... I repaint the car,
second... I put in my tunes!!! gotta have my xm...
third... lowering it, and the turbine rims/ tires...
forth... since the cat.is gone , might as well get the ranger header...
now here I'm out of money.... so... I start planning my next thing.
the rear end swap to an 8.8 with decent gear.. I could careless about rear disc brakes, but I will put a bigger set on the front... four lugs?? five lugs?? it's all the same to me!!!

now... I've been reading, and asking questions??? so my turbo set up will begin.... as of right now it looks like I'll try to turbo the dual plug... it's way cheaper to rebuild, just need to add forged pistons, and oil drain and return lines to the block!! since I'm not looking for mega hp.. I'm dandy there... along the way I will buy odd items like fuel pump, lifters and other odities needed.. so questions I will still ask!!!
