Default 2.3l Mustang Turbo How Much Boost Can You Run In A Stock Motor?

So is ever body doing. I would like to know, how much boost you can run to the motor stock

No more than 16 at the very max on a stock turbo motor even the jap stuff so I would stick with no more than 14 with the hot weather coming. And make sure u have a good air fuel gage to make sure u are not frying pistons, and back off the boost. U might even want to go with a bigger intercooler because u can get safer boost temps and more hp from temp drop. There is of course not a very big aftermarket for your car so u will have to fab just about everything.

If it's a stock turbo motor w/TC style intercooler, a T3 and it's tuned the way it should be, drop a few gallons of race fuel in the tank. If you've got a Gillis valve, crank it up to around 22 psi. With a good tune, high octane fuel and short bursts of turbo spool, you should be alright (until you hear detonation, but by then it'll probably be too late)!
