Default 1987 Mustang: 2.3L swap from 1993 Mustang

I have an 87 lx hatchback with a bad motor had someone give me a 2.3l out of a 93 stang. First thing i noticed was that it has dual plug among a few other differences. guess my question is this going to be lots of headachs with this engine swap and what am i looking at with having to swap out extra things computer comes to mind. is there a place to get help?

i think that you can remove the plug where the dist would go like on your 87 and install you dist in the 93 also only run the spark plugs on the passenger side , the 93 has a roller cam,big G

Why no roller? The cam will swap just fine.

just take the head off the 87 and put the 93 cam in it,,use all the 87 electronics ecm etc..i would replace the oil pan gaskets as i have heard since they switched to an aluminum pan they used new rubber ringed gaskets that tend to fall apart inside and plug up the oil pump screen,,,,
