On the top center of the solenoid mounted on the driver's side fender, there is a wire with a black, rubber, 90* elbow push on fastener that goes over the threaded post. The wire coming off of it is red. Where does this wire terminate/what is is for?

is this wire red with a blue stripe? if so its your starter sol, the wire goes to you ign switch but not directly, big G
