Default 1992 LX 2.3L, PCV valve question

Apparently my 'stang has been running with this disconnected and I am not 100% sure where it goes, there is a small rubber tube running down to the intake manifold next to it, when I put the valve on it and ran it the next mornin the car had a little trouble starting and it stalled in intervals until I removed it. Dad says their is no way that the PCV valve would cause that to happen but after i removed it, no more stalls. Stang just runs rough on idles and hesitates on stop sign acceleration turns.

Any tips or maintence I could do to fix this would be great.

I have cleaned the throttle body, ran fuel injection cleaner, new oil, new battery, new PCV valve, new EGR, cleaned the air intake, and replaced spark plugs, honestly dont know what else to help.

Default pcv hose

I am right about where you're at. I also let about a cup of oil drain out of the air silencer assembly yesterday;. Apparentle the last owner didnt care. next I want to check the pcv hose and maybe replace that, i think its clogged and hardened. I will change the grommet (PCV valve grommet) tomorrow and then put in a new ignition coil. I just spotted some cracks on one of the coils and was told i was losing power due to that.
