I have a 1989 mustang, when i start it up it has white smoke flowing out the tailpipe. When i rev it up just a little it does it worse. When it warms up it stops, but it is very annoying and you can watch the mosquitos fall out of the sky. Is this some sort of problem with the sensors.

It appears your head gasket is going. White smoke is not good.....

You can easily check the coolant system with a radiator pressure tester. A loss in pressure indicates a leak somewhere. After pressurizing the coolant system, remove all spark plugs and have someone turn the engine over while watching to see if any coolant is blown out of any of the cylinders.
