I just saw something on them, I know of the product, but never bought any of them. has anyone used this on a 2.3?? how loud was it?? it looked cool....
Hey, I just watched a program on then also. Though I am not aware of anyone who is using it on a 2.3. Though my buddy has one on his ranger, it sounds pretty sweet.
I thought cherry bombs were way old school ...like back in the 50's ans 60's cars. I havent heard of anyone using them on todays cars......Who Knows...

Hey im currently sportin a cherry bomb or "glass pack" on my 82 courier with a 2.3l. I think it sounds pretty sweet. its loud but not too loud, and it has a bassy low tone to it at idle.

Hey My 76 2door Hardtop Mustang 2.3lw/carb Had A 30 Some Inch Cherrybomb Muffler. When I Got Up To 40mph And Let Off The Gas It Was A Talking. My Brother Could Hear Me Coming 2 Blocks Away. And Easy The Gas On By The Cop Shop. In The Winter Time I Had A 3inch Flame Come Out Of The Muffler , Cuz The Muffler Was All The At The Rear Of The Car Right By The Bumper.

I haven't seen any other clips. But I have heard them. Heres a link to the Cherry Bomb Web site for mustangs. http://www.cherrybomb.com/cars_new.a...unds_Only=true But I am thinking about putting one of cherry Bomb's "Extreme" mufflers on my 2.3L. I think sounds better then glasspacks. Hope this helps.
"Cherry Bomb" used to be synonomous with "glasspacks" and a cheap, VERY loud turbo muffler... They briefly went out of business around 2000 and have come back after being bought by another company.
As the new "Cherry Bomb" muffler company, they have a wide range of mufflers ranging from their original glasspack design to mufflers designed to compete with Flowmaster, Dynomax, and Hooker. (Their glasspack was by far the BEST sounding glasspack ever, I've used them on two of the five cars I've put glasspacks on, beats the hell out of cheap Chinese glasspacks and have a cooler sound than Thrush (though they are louder than the Thrush glasspacks)).
I used a single Cherry Bomb glasspack on my 1984 Camaro with it's little 2.8L V6 when I was in high school, had everyone swearing I'd done a V8 swap over the summer, rumble was that nice. Won't quite do that on a 2.3 (Inline and "Vee" engines have decidedly different sounds overall). but if my Thrush glasspack on my 2.3 in the '74 was any indication (they're usually a little quieter than Cherry Bomb because their tubes are louvered) you're going to have a nice rumble at idle, but make an awful lot of racket once you start getting into the throttle at all (2.3s are loud little motors without cats, resonators, or baffled mufflers! lol)
