1988 Mustang 2.3L Whats Wrong With My Idle? My idle is way to high. The TPS is fine, Vacuum lines are fine (or at least the ones on the tree)
Right now I have the IAC unplugged just to get my idle under control (use to be at 2000-2200 RPM's)
Whats wrong with my idle?

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Is your butterfly getting stuck at all? Is the throttle cable sticky?

Well as long as you figured out whats wrong. Maybe you could help me. On my Mustang you really have to mash the pedal to the floor to get it to do anything. If you know a quick fix for that I would love to hear it.

Have you tried cleaning your injectors, and replacing your fuel filter? also tune ups do wonders for these cars

Try cleaning the MAF. They sell a spray at the parts store just for that.

No, non MAF car. Oh well, anyone think my cam could be off causing this?
If I can't find this problem out soon I'll just buy a whole new head, upper and lower intake and TB with sensors in place

That might be it, but I got another motor for the car (look in the talk section)
