Default 1989 Mustang. Need help with A/C

Trying to get my A/C working again on my '89 Mustang, 2.3l non-turbo. When I turn the switch over to A/C the clutch on the compressor doesn't click on. I can bypass the switch and use a jump wire from the battery to the compressor to engage the clutch and it blows out cold air. Is their a relay that i need to check into and where might it be located at. Considering this is a everyday car and i live in south florida where avg temp is in the 90's right now, it would be nice to have it working right for my two young kids. Any help would be nice.

Have you tried replacing the fuse in your fuse box? I know that was one of the problems on mine (also has a leak)

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

There's a pressure switch on the drier that also controls the compressor. If the pressure drops below a certain point it cuts the compressor out to save it.

If that switch is bad, it'll keep the compressor from coming on. Unplug the switch and jump the plug to see if the compressor comes on then. If it does, replace the switch. If not, keep looking.

Take a look at the post on the 1993 2.3L Mustang ECM wiring relay location.
