Question 2.3L Knock Sensor Removal?

Alright. I've been searching these forums through a fine tooth comb and I cannot find anywhere how to remove a knock-sensor. I know what it does and I have no intentions of retarding my timing, at least not right now. It's a 1990 Mustang LX hatchback with a 2.3L automatic. thats all the info I have for right now. If you need anymore I will most likely be able to get it for you.

You unplug the sensor. Here I found a picture on google that shows where it is.

I haven't been able to find it. Should it still be in the same place on a N/A motor?

Default Knock Sensor Location

Gents,
On my 90 2.3L EFI non turbo engine, the knock sensor is located on the Upper Intake Manifold to the LEFT of the word "LITER" of the "2.3 Liter EFI". This confirmed by the picture in the 1990 Mustang Car Shop Manual on page 24-05-2.

Well that would explain it. I tried all the connectors near where the knock sensor was supposed to be. I believe that they are all for the fuel system. All the time I disconnected them the fuel pump never primed.
