The white on my lx is a little too plain for me, so sometime in the next year or 2 I would like to get it painted a different color. So far I'm leaning towards a dark blue for it. Now the top right now is black and I'm looking to find a silver/grey convertable top. That and also if possible,a grey/silver interior kit to match?Anyone know where to get atleast the top? Thanks

I think that's going to be a custom deal. There are three readily available convertible top colors. White, Black, and Tan. Get your wallet ready for anything other than those colors.

Try upholstery shops and you might even try the guys who do bimini tops for boats.

I've also seen a red top too for the 90s. I thought it would probally have to be a custom deal, but just wondered if any aftermarket companies were making different colored tops. My dad the bowtie boy actually likes my idea for once too (not to offen does that happen in this house that we both agree on something) so leaning a little more towards my idea of a grey/silver top and interior.

I'm not aware of anyone mass producing replacement tops outside of the factory color schemes.

I'm sure if someone can make a custom Gucci vinyl top for a mid-70's Impala or a convertible top for a car never offered as a convertible then they can make a convertible top for a Mustang in any color you like.

If you were going to go blue I found these guys on ebay that do the usual colors, and a Cadet Blue. Which is like a navy blue. You might want to contact them about silver because they did have a web link to a color chart with grey and silver.
