Question 1993 Mustang 2.3l Ignition Coil Wiring Issue, Pics Of The Dual Coils Area?

There are 3 wires that plug into each coil. The middle wire is a red w/ green stripe. There are 4 red w/ green stripe wires coming from the ICM. (ignition control module) One of them runs to the middle terminal on the primary coil and the second one runs to the middle terminal on the secondary coil and the third runs to the ballast resistor that's attached on the front of the secondary coil.
Where does the forth red w/ green striped wire go to? Because there isn't a ballast resistor (little silver canister looking thing with one wire coming out the end) on the primary coil. (What does the ballast resistor do anyway?)
Is there suppose to be one on the primary coil too??
Are all four of these wires suppose to be spliced/connected together just before they go to these places or are they suppose to be all single connections? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Maybe if I could get someone to take a closeup picture of their 2.3L dual coil setup I would be able to figure out where the forth red w/ green stripe wire goes to.

According to Mr. Chilton, the red/light green wires are power feed from the ignition switch, and there's one which feeds the crankshaft sensor. The "ballast resistor" is not a resistor at all, but a capacitor in there to suppress ignition noise in the radio.
